The Pra Kring Pairee Pinaat, was created in the age and commemoration of Nyanasamvara Suvaddhana, more commonly referred to as Somdej Pra Yan Sangworn, the 'Sangkaracha', the 19th Supreme Patriarch Monk of Thailand.
Created with the intent of veneration of the 'Pra Bpratan' Principle Buddha image of Wat Boworn, and using it's popular and widely known image to raise funds for the Communtity Support Foundation of Thailand. Pra Somdet Yannasangwon granted his auspicious blessing upon the Pra Pairee Pinaat to aid in easing the stuggles of life of all Thai people through 'Metta', whether it be in the fields and farms or in city affairs.
An important and sacred object, the Pra Kring Pairee Pinaat Pai Rit is considered to be of an utmost importance in the history of Buddhist images of Wat Somdet. Created to remunerate everyone who shared in the great merit making of raising the Principle Buddha images of these temples.
