Lek Lai, wonderful ore with mighty supernatural power stopping bombs, firearms, sharp edges of weapons, etc., indeed, whoever owns will be granted great abundance and wealth; will never find poverty.
Many different kinds of Lek Lai are taken care by angels such as Lek Lai Kot Pi, Lek Lai Prai, Lek Lai Phoeng, Lek Lai Ngoen Yuang, Lek Lai Setthi, Kot Lek Lai, Lek Lai Yoi and so on.
In adolescence, Kruba Or was a soldier of Thai Yai army (Thai Yai: an ethnic group of Myanmar), led a troop to find Lek Lai in the forest for almost a year. One day, Kruba Or got in the Cave (Tham Aok Taek), found a stream in the middle of the cave and a pilgrim monk staying for meditation. That pilgrim monk took Kruba Or to see Lek Lai. Incredibly, Kruba Or saw Lek Lai in the flowing stream, shining glittering black when it touched the firelight. The pilgrim monk said it is “Lek Lai Setthi”, taken by an angel, whoever owns it will become a millionaire soon. The pilgrim monk brought the honey. He put the honey on the stone and Lek Lai shone brightly towards the honey.
At that time, Kruba Or didn’t want to be wealthy, only wanted to find Lek Lai to protect himself and his troop. However, with merit of Kruba Or, that pilgrim monk gave Lek Lai to Kruba Or wrapped in a cloth bundle. After Kruba Or became a monk, he still kept that Lek Lai and had continuously blessed for more than 50 years.
**On the auspicious occasion “101st Birthday of Kruba Or”, Kruba Or opened the a bundle to bring Lek Lai Setthi to make amulet for people to own named “Takrut Lek Lai Setthi Kin Nam Phueng” (Millionaire Lek Lai Eating Honey Takrut).
Kruba Or already held a ceremony to ask the angel in Lek Lai Setthi for permission. He inscribed Takrut (1.5-inch-long lead sheet) and offered Lek Lai Setthi honey before mixing it with “Krang” lac insect mass (lac insect mass or Krang is believe to be a shield of dirty magic and other bad powers) and masked all on the Takrut.
Inside the Takrut is filled with Phong Wahn Metta 3 Long (three kinds of loving-kindness plants) to increase the power.
